E-learning project

I was recently working on the image development for an e-learning project, I was on charge of character designs, backgrounds, props, etc. For this specific project the client had a limited budget, so I decided to focus on the face, lip-syncing, blinking, some basic gestures and some movements of the arms and hands, no walking loops or strange ‘camera-angles’, all this in order to keep things ‘simple’ to animate

This is one of the characters created. He’s lip-syncing some of the most common phonemes, these phonemes might not be that accurate, anyway, I think they worked great.
